General tips
Use when citing an informally published, non-periodical web document. Check that your document does not fall under any of the other categories (e.g., Wikipedia article would be online encyclopedia).
If there is no author, begin the citation with the title of the web page, article, or document.
Add an access date if there is no date of publication or if you suspect that the work may be altered or removed.
Format:
Last, First M. "Page Title." Website Title. Publisher [if different from website], Date last modified. URL. Date accessed [if no date].
Examples:
"How to Make Vegetarian Chili." eHow, Demand Media, Inc, 24 Feb. 2009. www.ehow.com/how_4784308_cook-chili.html.
"Snow and wind storm pounds the Maritimes." CBC News. Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, 18 Feb. 2013, www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/02/18/maritimes-storm_n_2710434.html.
